Urban Gateways invitation & advertising campaign
Urban Gateways is a nonprofit organization that enhances inner-city children’s Arts education. Each year, they host a Benefit Concert at the Chicago Theatre to raise program funds. They asked Faust to design an invitation and advertising campaign for this year’s event featuring Patti LuPone, of the television show Life Goes On.
The invitation’s accordion fold plays off of Urban Gateways’s logo, which resembles a slinky. We used a children’s pastel drawing of the famous Chicago Theatre sign because, after all, it is a children’s art program.
In addition to this invitation, we created an advertising campaign that was featured in several Chicago publications.
